He moved to beautiful New Hampshire with his wife Beverly and his three children from infamous New Jersey. He was fed up with that state’s anti-gun laws, high taxes, high crime rate, environmental pollution, and its culture of political corruption. He has practiced law for over 30 years and was one of the first attorneys to ever get a federal injunction against a state gun law. He knows first hand what rotten laws do to honest folks.

He wrote and produced the DVD, GUN CONTROL – OUT OF CONTROL: How Gun Laws Make Honest Citizens Criminals. He has been quoted in numerous national newspapers and has been a guest on many television and radio shows, including Court TV, Real Talk – WWOR, It’s Your Call with Lynn Doyle, Tom Gresham’s Gun Talk, Al Kulas WKBK News and Talk and Cam & Company/NRA News.
He is currently President of the Fort Constitution Arms Collectors (www.armscollectors.org) and a Board Member of Pro-Gun New Hampshire (www.PGNH.org). By NRA Presidential appointment he has served on the NRA Committee on Concealed Carry. He is an NRA Certified Rifle, Pistol, Shotgun, and Home Firearm Safety Instructor. He has taught gun law to other attorneys, law enforcement officers, paralegals, and gun dealers in recognized law seminars, including the NRA National Firearms Law Seminar and the NRA Range Development Seminar. Attorney Nappen loves to hunt, fish, boat, and camp, and to collect, use, study, and write about guns and knives.
He is currently admitted to practice law in the states of New Hampshire and New Jersey and is admitted to the United States Supreme Court.
